Description of Responsibilities: 
The Manager of Gifts and Donor Records is responsible for the management and oversight of the agency's fundraising database and provides long-range and short-term strategy and planning for the areas of gift processing, database integrity, reporting and data analysis.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops business processes and quality improvement initiatives in anticipation of meeting internal customers needs.
  • Ensures that all Hillside Children's Foundation (HCF) and Strategic Development team members have a solid understanding of the fundraising system, are responsible for the integrity of the database and ensures that our processes are compliant with sound financial management, proper donor stewardship, IRS rules and regulations and industry best practices.
  • Creates or modifies reports, as needed, to satisfy goals of strategic development and finance and also manages inter-affiliate gift transfers on a quarterly basis.
  • Manages all aspects of the system for prospective management pipeline including conducting appropriate major gift level research, utilizing a variety of industry tools, analyzing data, integrating wealth screens and research and effectively manages the system to meet the needs of the team to close high level gifts in support of the organization's mission.
  • Manages aspects of all digital platforms and communication delivery for the Strategic development team and facilitates updates of internal and external web pages, executes approved email blasts, manages periodic changes to donation and event registration pages and assists with executing system improvements.

 Bachelor's degree is required. 
Experience/Personal Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a development team or experience in a customer service role using fundraising or customer relationship management information systems is required. Applicants with 5 or more years of experience are preferred. Applicants who also have experience using Raiser's Edge are preferred.
