Welcome to The Association of Fundraising Professionals Genesee Valley Chapter

Thank you for visiting our new website! The AFP Genesee Valley Chapter is a volunteer-based organization representing more than 250 fundraising professionals in the Greater Rochester region. Our mission is to advocate for philanthropy and to promote ethical and successful non-profit development by addressing the needs of diverse fundraising professionals in our region.

Events are open to everyone, not just members. Have a look around and if you're a member, use the Member Login button at the top for access to members only information including a membership directory, webinars, and more.

That's right, we celebrate—because ethics makes philanthropy and fundraising possible. Without ethics, giving doesn’t happen. Fundraising doesn’t happen. Change and impact don’t happen.

Ethics makes it all possible, and THAT’S worth celebrating.

And while we celebrate in October, ethics is critical all the time. So our goal for Ethics Awareness Month is simple: helping you live ethics. Growing your ethical skills. And demonstrating your commitment to the highest ethical standards.

After all, AFP members have already demonstrated that commitment by signing the AFP Code of Ethical Standards. This October, share your commitment by joining the conversation on social media and using #ISignedTheCode and #EthicsAwarenessMonth.

INVEST IN PHILANTHROPY

Each year our chapter participates in AFP Foundation for Philanthropy's BE the CAUSE campaign, an annual fundraising campaign that raises dollars that contribute to the value that AFP delivers to its chapters and its members.

Each and every day, the important work you do makes an impact on philanthropy around the world. Together, we can empower fundraisers, strengthen communities, and transform the way donors give. Donating is quick and easy!
