Are you an AFP Member: Yes
Name of Organization: SUNY Brockport
Title of Position: Advancement Services and Prospect Research Analyst
Starting Date: 08/01/2024
Salary Information: To remain in line with AFP’s work in the diversity, inclusion and equity space we will now require salary ranges for all job postings. This is an important step forward because not including the salary range in a job posting reinforces the salary gaps we see in the fundraising profession and in all of society based on gender, race and other factors. Requiring salary ranges promotes equity in the fundraising profession. Salary ranges set expectations from the beginning and ensure there is no surprise about salaries, and that neither party is wasting their time on a candidate or a position that doesn’t meet their salary needs.
